Thorsten began his dressage career in his native Germany, where he studied under Christophe Hess while apprenticing at Warnedorf. 

After moving to the US in 1989, he worked at a large dressage facility in Southern California, where he worked with the Young Rider teams. 

In 1998, Thorsten relocated to Colorado, where he returned to school and met his wife, Rebecca. The Kramers have been in Virginia since 2006. 


Rebecca Kramer, DVM

After having joined Keswick Equine Clinic in 2005, Dr. Rebecca Kramer purchased the equine veterinary practice in 2013. Rebecca received her DVM from Colorado State University in 2004. Rebecca competes her mare, Alice, in the jumpers.
